Window On God's World

I looked out the window

in the dark of the night

a big full moon

was shining bright.

in the gray light of dawn

the wispy clouds

tried to hide the sun.

I looked out the window

in the golden afternoon

the bright shining sun

warmed my living-room.

I looked out the window

at the silver rain storm

dark clouds and lightning flash

and then I saw a rainbow form.

I looked out the window

as the sun set in the West

all the clouds touched with color

as the Artist did His best.

in the dark of night

no moon tonight

just stars shining bright.
