Cruisin'

At Apple Blossom, every year
the kids do something they call "Cruisin'".
And sometimes folks at our motel
find it hard to do some snoozin'.
Because the peace and quiet,
the kids seem to be abusin'.
And, if you have some place to go
you'll find the traffic is confusin'.
But if you relax and enjoy it,
you may find it to be amusin'.
I'm afraid there always are a few
who go out looking for a bruisin'
but our boys in blue are on the job
as the crowds they are perusin'.
And eventually, about 5 a.m.
the Cruisin'comes to a conclusion.
And years from now, as you look back,
what you'll remember is the Cruisin'.
