From Liberation to Cooperation

Young girls today

believe that they

invented liberation.

But I recall

back to the wall

and filled with desperation,

I've won the bread

alone instead

of with colaboration,

I've opened doors

and done male "chores"

experiencing perspiration.

-

To buy food to eat

and make ends meet

gave gender no consideration.

I much prefer

and that's for sure

a life of cohabitation.

I'd rather be

enslaved by thee

so-long emancipation.

Having a mate

I find is great

and worth cooperation
