In a place called Audubon
upon the eastern sea,
reside a group of poets
who mean a lot to me.

No, I have not met them,
or seen them face to face.
I know them through their poetry,
done with style and grace.

They encourage and support me
in the things I strive to do,
to provide a poet's showcase
for folks like me and you.
-
They write such glowing letters
to tell me how they feel,
when they see their work presented
without charge . . .What a deal!!

But letters are not the only means
by which thier respcts they pay.
they generously support me
in a financial way.

Audubon Poets, I salute you
and I hold you in my heart.
I hope some day to meet you all,
but for now, this is a start.
