The Audubon Poets

The Haiku Experience
-
Haiku poetry
A question of timing
-The luck of the draw
A coincidence?
Whenever I think too long
I smell wood burning.
A good book to read
and the good time to read it -
God is on my side.
I took liberties
I took advantage of love
I'd do it again.
I can ride a bike
but I can't do it alone.
Do you understand?
The search continues
for that silliest of grails . . .
the "perfect poem"
Poets rush in, fools
slip and fall on a cow pie,
and receive wisdom.
My conclusion:
That which does not consume me
makes me hungry.
Curtis C. Lundbeck
