I worked as a Night Auditor for 18 years in a local Motel. I had many interesting encounters, some funny and some tragic. The following five poems were published in my first book, "A Night Auditor Tells All". These are true incidents, and might explain why I stayed in that position for 18 years. Interesting people like those portrayed in these anecdotal poems help to pass the time when working a 10 hour shift.
